What You Bring:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience or strong interest working with children and adolescents in educational settings
- Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with students, families, and school staff
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work with varying grade levels throughout the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions, adapting approaches for different age groups and learning styles
- Track progress and maintain thorough, accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to maximize student outcomes
