What You Bring:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience or strong interest working with children and adolescents in educational settings
  • Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with students, families, and school staff
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities
  • Flexibility to work with varying grade levels throughout the contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver targeted therapy sessions, adapting approaches for different age groups and learning styles
  • Track progress and maintain thorough, accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to maximize student outcomes
