A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Humble, TX, supporting a K-2 caseload at an elementary school. This onsite role involves working directly with young students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, helping them develop essential communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-2 students.
- Conduct evaluations and assess students’ communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
- Eligibility or current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status.
- Experience working in school settings with early elementary students.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Texas state licensure or eligibility preferred.
