Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting, serving students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders as they relate to academic achievement
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and fellow professionals
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students, tailored to individual needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders and determine service needs
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation, including progress notes and IEP reports, in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise in language and communication development
- Consult with educational staff and families to support student success both in and out of the classroom
