Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Humble, TX

Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity supporting primary and elementary students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time position spans the academic year, offering 40 hours each week across multiple campuses, with a focus on supervision, evaluation, and collaborative support.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in the state of Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience working within school settings, particularly with children in primary and elementary grades
• Proficiency supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
• Skilled in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations
• Comfortable facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meetings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor assigned SLPAs to ensure best practices
• Complete timely and thorough speech-language evaluations for students
• Lead and participate in ARD meetings, serving as a key team member
• Support staff and campus teams regarding speech and language interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation to comply with district and professional standards
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to promote student success
