Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting primary and elementary school students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in the Humble, TX area. This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with school staff and directly impact student success during the 2026-2027 academic year.
You’ll work a consistent 40 hours per week in a welcoming school environment, providing supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), overseeing comprehensive speech-language evaluations, and facilitating ARD meetings. Notably, this position does not require direct therapy services, allowing you to focus on evaluation, support, and supervision duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license in Texas (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Strong skills in speech-language evaluations and IEP/ARD facilitation
- Ability to provide supervision and mentorship to SLPAs
- Organized, collaborative, and effective communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support assigned SLPAs in their daily activities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations for students in primary and elementary grades
- Facilitate and participate in ARD meetings, ensuring appropriate student support
- Collaborate with campus staff to monitor student progress and needs
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by school and state guidelines
