As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), your role centers on direct contributions to student success—not therapy delivery, but valuable supervision and guidance. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position, beginning August 2026 and continuing through June 2027.
What you’ll bring:
- Current Texas SLP license and ASHA CCC.
- Previous experience supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students across primary and elementary grade levels.
- Familiarity with school-based processes and the facilitation of ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently.
- Collaborative spirit and clear communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
Role responsibilities:
- Oversee and support SLPA(s) in providing indirect services.
- Complete formal speech and language assessments and evaluations as required.
- Lead and facilitate ARD meetings, contributing professional recommendations and updates.
- Coordinate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure optimal communication strategies for students.
- Maintain accurate, compliant records and documentation as needed by state and local guidelines.
