Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Humboldt, Iowa

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid or eligible license as an SLP in Iowa
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in school-based SLP roles or pediatric settings is highly desirable
• Comfortable with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in collaboration with educational staff and families
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions in accordance with each student’s IEP, using both virtual and in-person modalities
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of progress, assessments, and services rendered
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on speech and language interventions
