Speech Language Pathologist in Humboldt, TN

As a school-based SLP, you'll provide evaluation, treatment, and support for students with speech-language disorders in a collaborative, onsite environment.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Valid ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or able to obtain)
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently—no SLPAs assigned

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy and intervention for a diverse student caseload
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Maintain accurate documentation meeting school and regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide support initiatives
• Adapt therapy tools and sessions to meet student needs and maximize success

This position is full-time, onsite, and extends across the entire academic year.
