A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support within a school setting in Huntington Beach, CA. This role involves working with a student population that includes those receiving speech support and those enrolled in specialized education programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech-language therapy services to approximately 55 students identified with speech needs.
  • Collaborating with a team of SLPs, including covering for a full-time SLP during a leave of absence.
  • Supporting three specialized therapeutic (SUCCESS) classes, each consisting of 10 students.
  • Ensuring all therapy sessions comply with educational standards and individualized student plans.
  • Documenting progress and coordinating with educational staff to optimize student outcomes.
  • Maintaining a consistent schedule of 30 hours per week at a single location.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP credential and relevant licensure for school-based practice.
  • Experience working in school environments with diverse student populations.
  • Ability to manage workloads independently and collaborate effectively with educational teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in documentation.

This position is based entirely at one site, offering the chance to build meaningful relationships with students and staff within a stable and structured environment.
