A short-term contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential coverage while a staff member is on leave. This position involves working full-time with preschool-aged children, primarily conducting speech and language assessments. The contract runs from May 26 to June 17 and is located in Huntington Beach, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for preschool students in accordance with established protocols.
  • Interpret assessment results and develop appropriate documentation.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and parents to discuss evaluation outcomes and support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting.
  • Adhere to all relevant school policies and guidelines related to student health and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience conducting speech and language assessments with preschool-aged children.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently within a condensed time frame.
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy environments and procedures is preferred.
