Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to make a difference in the lives of students by providing vital speech therapy services for a school-based contract role covering a leave through December. Based in Santa Ana, CA near Huntington Beach, this position offers the chance to support a dedicated team and help students reach their communication goals in a dynamic educational environment.

Ideal candidates will bring a passion for working with children, a flexible mindset, and experience supporting a variety of speech and language needs in schools or pediatric settings. You’ll have the chance to step in quickly—interviews begin as soon as possible.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active California SLP license or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
  • Comfortable with IEP documentation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to deliver services in-person or via teletherapy platforms
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group speech therapy to students across grade levels
  • Evaluate and develop goals for students with communication disorders
  • Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reporting
  • Work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
  • Adapt therapy approaches to best serve diverse student populations, including those requiring teletherapy

The offered pay range for this contract is $47-57 per hour, commensurate with experience.
