Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly preferred
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for fostering student growth and advocating for communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate speech-language strategies into daily activities
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help shape student learning goals
- Monitor student progress, adjust therapy interventions as needed, and provide consultation for best practices
- Educate staff and families on communication strategies for student success
