Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly preferred
  • Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills
  • Passion for fostering student growth and advocating for communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate speech-language strategies into daily activities
  • Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and help shape student learning goals
  • Monitor student progress, adjust therapy interventions as needed, and provide consultation for best practices
  • Educate staff and families on communication strategies for student success
