Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess students' needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as necessary
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and families on speech and language development
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • State licensure to practice as an SLP or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia
  • Experience working in school-based environments is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Willingness and ability to travel to varied school locations as required
