Extended School Year (ESY) School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Huntingtown, Maryland

Serving K–12th grade students in a supportive school environment, this assignment offers an excellent chance for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide essential ESY services. The school is seeking a dedicated SLP to work 20 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday from 8am to 12pm, starting June 29th through July 30th. Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in Maryland
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience working with K–12 students in a school setting
• Knowledge of Extended School Year (ESY) practices
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs for students with speech and language needs
• Provide targeted therapy sessions aligned with individual goals
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students’ progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• Participate in meetings as needed during ESY session
