Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Huntingtown, MD

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure before start date)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience in a school-based setting and familiarity with IEP processes
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students K-12
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support each student's academic and functional success
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to address student needs and progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
