As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) on contract assignment, you’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals to address diverse speech, language, and communication needs throughout the school year. This opportunity is based near Huntsville, AL.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active or eligible state SLP license
  • Prior experience in a school setting highly preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services for a range of speech/language disorders
  • Maintain thorough documentation of progress, services, and compliance per state/federal guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to implement classroom strategies and facilitate generalization of skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Engage in ongoing professional development relevant to school-based speech-language pathology
