Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Valid SLP license for Alabama (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to different school cultures and teams
  • Experience with pediatric/school-based populations preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
  • Document sessions and comply with local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
