Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active, or eligibility for, North Carolina SLP licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Experience with school-based services, especially with elementary-aged children
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary students, both individually and in small groups
  • Assess, diagnose, and document students' speech, voice, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans that foster student growth and achievement
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ IEP goals
  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to student progress reports
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute clinical insights as needed
