Experience a dynamic role supporting students at the elementary level in an engaging school environment. This full-time contract opportunity allows a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to make a significant impact working with PreK through 5th-grade students. The position spans the academic year from late August through early June, with 35 hours each week dedicated to providing essential speech and language services. Preferred onsite services offer a collaborative, hands-on environment, but remote (VOCO) candidates may also be considered for the right fit.
Qualifications:
- Current, active SLP license for the state of Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in Maryland schools highly preferred
- Comfortable working with elementary-aged students (PreK–5th grade)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and staff
- Skilled in adapting therapy methods to both in-person and remote modalities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a minimum of 60 service hours per month to support elementary students' communication and language development
- Assessing, planning, and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintaining accurate student records and documentation
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to developmental plans
- Adhering to school and state standards for speech and language services
