School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hurlock, Maryland

The assignment runs from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, with a total of 35 working hours per week and a requirement of at least 60 service hours per month for elementary students.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license
• Previous experience in Maryland school settings strongly preferred
• Comfort with both onsite and teletherapy (VOCO) services, with an onsite presence preferred
• Passion and skill for working with PreK-5th grade populations
• Strong communication and documentation abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, meeting monthly service hour targets
• Conduct individualized assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Maintain thorough records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and continued professional development
