The assignment runs from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, with a total of 35 working hours per week and a requirement of at least 60 service hours per month for elementary students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license
- Previous experience in Maryland school settings strongly preferred
- Comfort with both onsite and teletherapy (VOCO) services, with an onsite presence preferred
- Passion and skill for working with PreK-5th grade populations
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, meeting monthly service hour targets
- Conduct individualized assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and continued professional development
- Adapt support and strategies to address varied student needs, both in-person and virtually if required
