Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills will be considered
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well with diverse student populations and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that addresses the unique needs of each child
