School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Huron, California

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills will be considered
• Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Ability to work well with diverse student populations and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that addresses the unique needs of each child
