Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Organizational aptitude for maintaining thorough student records
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social needs
- Document progress, maintain accurate treatment records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt and adjust interventions based on individual student needs and progress
- Engage students in a supportive and positive manner to foster motivation and growth
