Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Organizational aptitude for maintaining thorough student records

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social needs
  • Document progress, maintain accurate treatment records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt and adjust interventions based on individual student needs and progress
  • Engage students in a supportive and positive manner to foster motivation and growth
