A K-12 school in Hyattsville, MD is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services. This contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and academic success throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Deliver therapy services to students with speech and language disorders across K-12 grade levels
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines for school-based services

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Experience working in a school setting serving children from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate services with school staff and families
