Key Requirements:

  • Active SLP license issued by the state of Maryland
  • Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification, or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric environments is a plus, but not mandatory

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, as well as re-evaluations, for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary IEP teams to maximize student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive, communicative school culture
