Desired Background & Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Maryland SLP License (required).
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or completion of all Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirements.
  • Experience or coursework in school-based speech therapy settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and documentation in accordance with IEPs.
  • Partner with teachers, support staff, and families to address students’ communication needs.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans for a caseload of PreK-12 students across various school buildings.
  • Maintain records, track student progress, and contribute to IEP meetings.
  • Deliver services exclusively onsite throughout the contract period.
