Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Hold a current Maryland SLP License (required).
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or completion of all Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirements.
- Experience or coursework in school-based speech therapy settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and documentation in accordance with IEPs.
- Partner with teachers, support staff, and families to address students’ communication needs.
- Develop individualized therapy plans for a caseload of PreK-12 students across various school buildings.
- Maintain records, track student progress, and contribute to IEP meetings.
- Deliver services exclusively onsite throughout the contract period.
