Step into a vital role providing speech-language pathology services in a collaborative educational setting. This full-time contract position runs from August 17 to September 4, covering a maternity leave within an established autism program at an elementary school. Work closely with students and staff in a supportive onsite environment, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:40 p.m.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license (state-specific certification required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience, preferably with autism populations
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students in the autism program, focusing on individualized education plan (IEP) goals
  • Conduct assessments and interpret results for diagnosis and ongoing support
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, support staff, and families, to ensure comprehensive student care
  • Document progress, maintain student records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Adapt therapy approaches based on student growth and program feedback
