Make a difference working with elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Blue Springs area. With a flexible part-time schedule of 2-3 days per week, you’ll work onsite with a manageable caseload of about 20 students, providing valuable speech and language services for the upcoming school year.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Missouri
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Recent experience working within a school setting, particularly in elementary education
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and families
  • Ability to work onsite in a collaborative school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify speech, language, and communication needs of assigned students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver speech and language therapy services individually or in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and compliance reports
  • Act as a resource to school staff, providing input on communication strategies within the classroom
