Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certification (CCC required)
- Active Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License
- Previous experience in school settings and with IEPs preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, caregivers, and colleagues
- Compassion, patience, and cultural sensitivity
- Experience with middle and high school caseloads is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Maintain thorough documentation for student progress and interventions
- Provide consultation and resources to educators and support staff
- Engage with families to promote carryover of skills into home and community environments
