  • Previous experience or strong interest in K-12 school-based therapy encouraged
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, families, and staff
  • Proficient in conducting speech/language assessments and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders and intervention strategies
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and comply with school/district policies

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students according to IEP goals
  • Assess students to determine the nature and extent of speech and language impairments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
  • Maintain thorough and timely records of evaluations, progress, and communications
