Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) through ASHA
  • State licensure—or eligibility for licensure—in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in pediatrics or school-based settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse student population
  • Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document progress according to school and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff for integrated therapy approaches
  • Offer consultation and training to families and educational professionals as needed
  • Maintain thorough and timely records to ensure compliance and track student improvements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to building-wide initiatives that promote student success
