Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and prepare necessary reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Offer support and education to staff and families on communication disorders
