Step into an impactful school-based contract opportunity serving students onsite for the 2026-2027 academic year in the vibrant area near Indian, AK. Two dedicated professionals—SLPs with CCCs or SLPAs—are needed to serve full time, working across approximately two elementary sites, delivering essential speech-language services to an average caseload of 47 students each.

This position is strictly onsite, supporting collaborative school settings within a supportive district environment. Enjoy 40 hours per week (8.5-hour days with a half-hour unpaid lunch), giving you the structure and engagement of a consistent schedule while making a meaningful contribution in your field.

Qualifications:

  • SLPs must hold an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Current Alaska SLP or SLPA certification and licensure (required)
  • Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Passion for collaborating with educators and families to help children succeed

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records and manage documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
  • Provide consultation and collaboration with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to student success plans
  • Adapt services to support diverse student needs within elementary school environments
