This contract position begins in September 2026 and concludes in November 2026, offering 37.5 hours per week working closely with a collaborative team dedicated to student growth and success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY) welcome
  • Experience or coursework in school-based SLP services highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and report writing
  • Passion for working with 4th-6th grade students and ability to tailor interventions to individual needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapy
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student communication goals
  • Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide support and guidance for classroom staff regarding communication strategies
