Make a direct impact on student communication by providing dedicated speech-language services in a vibrant school-based environment. In this contract position, you’ll focus primarily on conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, supporting an onsite caseload of approximately 50–70 students. You’ll collaborate with a fellow SLP devoted to nonverbal life skills students, allowing for professional partnership and shared expertise.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC credentials
  • Established competency in school-based speech-language therapy, preferably with experience in conducting assessments and evaluations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfort working onsite in a dynamic school setting throughout the academic year
  • A passion for supporting students’ developmental and communicative success

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Administer thorough speech and language evaluations for a diverse student population
  • Analyze, interpret, and document assessment results to guide intervention planning
  • Work closely with another SLP, exchanging knowledge and strategies to address student needs—particularly those requiring life skills support
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and engage families and educational staff in the evaluation process
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education planning as needed
