A unique opportunity awaits for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting near Indianapolis, IN. This contract role is tailored for an SLP with CCC credentials who excels at evaluations and values a collaborative work culture. You’ll work onsite, primarily focused on conducting speech and language assessments for a diverse caseload of approximately 50–70 students, and you’ll partner with another seasoned SLP providing life skills support for nonverbal students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in schools or similar educational environments
  • Strong diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Adept at supporting diverse student needs, including nonverbal populations
  • Passion for teamwork and collaboration with SLP staff

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students across multiple grade levels
  • Accurately document assessment findings and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Partner closely with another SLP, contributing to program development for life skills students
  • Communicate consistently with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements for school-based therapy

This contract position runs from August through early June and offers structured hours totaling 37.5 per week. All services are delivered onsite in a supportive academic environment, allowing you to build strong relationships with students and colleagues while honing your evaluation expertise.
