School Speech Language Pathologist - Indianapolis, Indiana

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students’ communication growth in a vibrant educational community near Indianapolis, IN. This part-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, from now through June 2027, offering 3-4 days per week with 7-hour shifts each day. You’ll collaborate with another SLP to manage a dynamic elementary-to-middle school caseload (currently 70-75 students), with efforts to further balance assignments.

You’ll play a key role in the life skills/functional classrooms, working in a center-based service delivery model. This position empowers you to use your creativity and expertise to build supportive learning environments and impact both general education and specialized classrooms. Adaptability is valued here, as the caseload structure may evolve based on team composition and needs.

Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active CCC-SLP and state licensure for Indiana
• Experience in school settings (elementary and/or middle school preferred)
• Familiarity with life skills/functional and general ed populations
• Collaborative spirit for team-based caseload management
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, both 1:1 and in groups
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs
• Support life skills/functional classroom instruction
• Engage in center-based and general education service delivery models
• Collaborate closely with teachers, other SLPs, and families
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to data-driven decision making
