Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will support students across various grade levels, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication challenges. You'll find encouragement for creativity and individualized care in a supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply.
- Valid state licensure in Indiana or ability to obtain prior to starting.
- Experience working with school-aged children (K–12) strongly preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the development and attainment of student goals.
- Keep thorough records, data, and progress reports as required by school and state guidelines.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
