Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and ability to document progress effectively
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluation findings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans
- Maintain thorough records of services, progress, and communications
- Provide guidance and resources to educators and parents regarding speech/language needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on best practices in the field
