Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and ability to document progress effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluation findings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans
  • Maintain thorough records of services, progress, and communications
  • Provide guidance and resources to educators and parents regarding speech/language needs
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on best practices in the field
