Speech Language Pathologist in Indianapolis, IN

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist this spring. This position is located near Indianapolis, IN and focuses on making an immediate impact within a vibrant K-4th grade setting by covering a maternity leave from March 30th through May 29th. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential required
• Experience in elementary or K-4 settings strongly preferred
• Proficiency in IEP and report writing
• Skilled in conducting evaluations and assessments
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to K-4th grade students
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and produce timely reports
• Write, update, and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation, including Medicaid billing
• Engage families and staff to promote students’ success and progress
