This full-time role, based near Indianapolis, IN, focuses on supporting K-4th grade students by delivering personalized speech and language services while covering a maternity leave from March 30th to May 29th. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers and staff in one school, fostering meaningful progress for students and ensuring compliance with all program guidelines.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current or eligible Indiana SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially K-4th grade
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with IEP and Medicaid billing processes
  • Previous school-based setting experience is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, interpreting results for parents and educational teams
  • Write clear and effective IEPs and therapy reports
  • Provide direct intervention services to students, tracking their progress with care and attention
  • Participate actively in meetings with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Handle timely and accurate Medicaid billing and related documentation
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
