A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Indio, CA, serving the school setting on a contract basis. This role focuses on evaluating and treating children with speech and language disorders within a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students presenting with speech and language impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions targeting specific speech and language goals to improve communication skills.
  • Monitor progress carefully and maintain detailed documentation of therapy outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other professionals to ensure integrated care.
  • Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process to support student success.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California is required.
