Speech Language Pathologist in Indio, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as an SLP (CCC required)
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Familiarity with California Medicaid (Paradigm) processes is preferred
• Comfortable providing services for students with varying needs, including experience or willingness to work with AAC devices
• Possession of a valid Certificate of Clearance (COC) for California schools

What You’ll Do:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a preschool environment
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) specific to each child's needs
• Work closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure best outcomes
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative school community
