School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Inverness, Florida

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) highly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply
• Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse elementary caseload, both individually and in groups
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication, speech, and language needs
• Maintain accurate records and monitor students’ progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student success
• Communicate effectively with families and participate in IEP meetings
• Utilize a dedicated therapy space to optimize session quality
