Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- School-based experience preferred, especially supporting IEPs and assessments
- Skilled in conducting speech/language evaluations and creating intervention plans
- Strong understanding of the IEP process and special education documentation
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and initiative when working with diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students at private schools within the district
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct interventions supporting a range of communication needs
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and evaluation results accurately and promptly
- Participate in IEP meetings with families and educational staff
- Offer consultation and resources to educators and parents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
