Your background in school-based SLP services—whether in the clinical fellowship year (CFY) or as an experienced clinician—will be invaluable as you help students develop effective communication skills for academic and social success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility
- School-based experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations (CFY candidates considered)
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, special educators, and other school staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student achievement and growth
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track progress
- Consult and collaborate with educators and staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities
- Engage with families to support carryover and progress beyond the school setting
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation
