Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional support and services onsite—no virtual assignments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to district policy
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to address students’ needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Collaborate with other SLPs and educational staff for best outcomes

This contract position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with 37.5 hours per week, providing ample time for direct interventions and collaboration. The district values hands-on engagement, fostering a supportive environment for you and your students.
