Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional support and services onsite—no virtual assignments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to district policy
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to address students’ needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with other SLPs and educational staff for best outcomes
This contract position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with 37.5 hours per week, providing ample time for direct interventions and collaboration. The district values hands-on engagement, fostering a supportive environment for you and your students.
