Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Recent school-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to independently manage multiple, varied caseloads
- Familiarity with the IEP process, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexible approach to working itinerantly across multiple schools and settings
- Not open to candidates seeking virtual-only (Voco) or SLPA positions
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students as part of IEP implementation
- Assess students, develop individualized goals, and monitor progress
- Provide therapy using evidence-based practices tailored to diverse student needs
- Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case management records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to the educational team
