In this in-person role, you’ll provide direct speech and language services aligned with IEP goals and state and federal guidelines. Collaboration is at the core of this position—you’ll partner closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to create a supportive environment where every child can thrive. You’ll work on-site with a manageable caseload, ensuring each student receives personalized, focused care.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, particularly with early childhood populations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Understanding of federal and state regulations related to special education and IEPs
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Evaluate, document, and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of communication goals
- Consult with staff and parents on effective strategies for classroom and home settings
- Maintain accurate, timely records per school and legal requirements
