This onsite role is located near Irmo, SC, serving school-aged students in a supportive educational environment. As a vital member of the special education team, you'll make a tangible difference by delivering high-quality speech and language services tailored to student needs.

In this position, you can expect hourly pay ranging from $50 to $55, reflecting your experience and expertise.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current South Carolina SLP License
  • Teacher’s certification in South Carolina
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • SLP-CFY candidates may also be considered
  • Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse communication needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations using appropriate diagnostic tools for speech and language disorders
  • Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and deliver targeted interventions
  • Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
