Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in both elementary and middle school settings near Irmo, SC. This position runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a standard schedule of 37.5 hours each week. You'll collaborate with two elementary schools, working with caseloads that typically range from 45 to 50 students. This assignment is a great fit for professionals passionate about pediatric speech-language therapy in educational environments.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) state license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to contribute to multidisciplinary IEP teams

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in students across elementary and middle school environments
  • Develop and implement targeted treatment plans aligned with student goals and IEP requirements
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Complete documentation, progress reports, and evaluations in a timely manner
  • Offer consultation and support across two schools, ensuring follow-through on student goals and services
