Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students’ communication development in a dynamic school environment near Irmo, SC. This full-time opportunity runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and offers the chance to work across two elementary sites, providing impactful speech-language services to young learners and supporting their academic success.

Utilize your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology and help nurture growth in children across both elementary and middle school campuses. Manage a caseload of approximately 45-50 students, working collaboratively with educators and families to build effective treatment plans that make a tangible difference.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in schools and with pediatric populations strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with IEPs and multidisciplinary team approaches

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate and assess students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both elementary and middle school settings
  • Monitor student progress, adjust therapy as needed, and maintain documentation
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families regularly
  • Provide support and education to promote strong communication skills campus-wide
