Required Qualifications:
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
- Background in school-based practice, especially with elementary-aged students
- Experience designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
- Maintain accurate, timely progress reports and service logs
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to help support students’ overall development
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team conferences, and school-based interventions
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
