What We’re Looking For:
- Valid South Carolina SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience or interest in working within a school setting
- Ability to deliver assessments, develop IEPs, and collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and goal-focused learning environment
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Offer consultation and professional insights on communication disorders to school staff and parents
