Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for certification
  • Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
  • Provide guidance and resources to families and school personnel on speech and language concerns
  • Adapt to the unique needs of each school setting, ensuring services are accessible and meaningful
