A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year within a K-12 educational setting located in Huron, SD. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver specialized speech and language services to a diverse student population, supporting their communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to students with speech and language impairments.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding special education services.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Experience working within a K-12 school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Location: Huron, SD Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Duration: Contract through the end of the school year (EOSY) Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
